IMPROVING THE STUDENTS LISTENING ABILITY USING JUSTICE ALBUM BY JUSTINE BIEBER AT THE TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ OF AL MA’MUROH DORMITORY STUDY CLUB IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022

English having important aspects of various life, especially in listening. To find out how can using justice album by justin bieber to improve the listening ability of tenth grade students of AL Ma’muroh Dormitory Study Club in academic year 2021/2022. Song can make students more interest with enjoyable strategy. It is showed with the result of study was satisfying. Students don’t uderstand about expression and also most of the students listen indonesian song. So, they feel difficulties hearing english each other.
In this research, the researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as method, the writer following the research procedure such as: preliminary observation, planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. There were third cycles in this classroom action reserach. Each cycle consisted of two mettings. This research was carried out at AL Ma’muroh Dormitory especially in tenth grade students study club that consist of 16 students.
The result showed that there was a significant increase of the students listening ability after being taught by using parliamentary listening method. The students mean score in pre-study 58,125, in cycle 1 was 57,5 in the mean score in the cycle 2 was 72,5 and in the mean score in the cycle 3 was 76,25. It can be seen that there was an improvement of the cycle 1 to cycle 3 results in the term offluency, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension.Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the process of teaching listeningusing songs is to improve the students litening ability and to motivate the students to be active in the classroom.
