2021.

Against the background of the spread of the Corona virus which causes
social activities to be limited, causing schools in Indonesia to conduct online
learning. so that online learning can run smoothly, an application is needed that is
used as a medium for learning and teaching. One of the learning media used for
learning and teaching is the Padlet application.
The formulation of the problem in this research is How to use Padlet in
teaching narrative text in grade 10 Acceleration at SMAN 1 Glenmore? How
students' perception about using Padlet in learning narrative text?. So that it aims
to describe the use of Padlet in writing narrative text which is carried out in class
10 acceleration at SMAN 1 Glenmore and to find out student responses to this
application.
The method in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive data
analysis which aims to describe the use of the Padlet application in narrative text
learning with 10 accelerations at SMAN 1 Glenmore in 2020-2021 as an object.
Researchers took data sources from informants and activities carried out by
students. In collecting data, researchers conducted interviews, observations and
documentation. Perform data reduction, data display, and verification to analyze
data. And perform triangulation to validate the data.
This research was conducted in three meetings. The first meeting, the
researcher uploaded teaching materials for students to learn narrative texts. The
second meeting after the students understood the narrative text, the researcher
uploaded a series of pictures for the material to make narrative text, at this
meeting there were still students who made mistakes in writing. At the third
meeting, the researcher asked students to analyze their friends' writings and then
comment on their writings, then revise their writings.
The results of observations and interviews showed that the padlet
application could be used to teach narrative text and got a good response from the
students of 10th grade Acceleration at SMAN 1 Glenmore.
