ANALISIS GAYA BAHASA PADA NOVEL BIOGRAFI “BUYA HAMKA” KARYA AHMAD FUADI

Abstract
Literature is an imaginative and creative literary work in the form of fantasy that makes the reader or connoisseur of the literature hypnotized because the stories or literary works present interesting conflicts. Through literature, one can see the views of society through social life and can also provide a real picture of social life through its imaginative power. In addition, literature can also be referred to as an entertainment medium that has a high aesthetic value which is conveyed by writers in a communicative way.
In this study, there are several research focuses, including (1) What is the form of the language style found in the Novel Birafi Buya Hamka by Ahmad Fuadi? (2) What is the function of style in the Biography Novel Buya Hamka by Ahmad Fuadi? This study also aims to include (1) Knowing the description of the style of language in the Biographical Novel of Buya Hamka by Ahmad Fuadi. (2) Knowing the description of the function of language style in the Biography Novel Buya Hamka by Ahmad Fuadi. This study uses a qualitative method is to explain in more depth a phenomenon by collecting data and analyzing data and theories studied by researchers. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques using reading and note-taking techniques.
The results of this study found the form and function of language style, including comparative language style, contradictory language style, linking language style, and repetition language style. The Biography of Buya Hamka by Ahmad Fuadi found several types of language styles used, including 8 types of comparative language styles, 7 types of contradictory language styles, 5 types of linking language styles, and 4 types of repetition language styles.
